22 July 2009: Book now for 2010 construction of your new Timberpeg home

We are experiencing increased interest in Timberpeg’s high-quality designed and built, energy-efficient homes and, despite the downturn in house-building activity in the rest of the Irish market, we expect 2010 to be very busy as discerning clients seek homes that are cosy, beautiful, green and energy efficient. As a result, we are now encouraging interested customers to contact us for a preliminary discussion to plan your new home for 2010.

Ingenium’s Michael McArdle notes: “The interest in Timberpeg post and beam homes has been tremendous. The feedback we have been getting tells us that people love the exposed timber beams and cathedral ceiling areas. When we explain that these homes are highly energy-efficient, people just want one. People are tired of shoddy materials and workmanship and want that something special in a home that we can provide. And, with interest rates and site prices so low, it is worth considering your Timberpeg post and beam home now.”

23-27 October 2006: Frame raising in Co. Donegal

The pretty village of Fahan is the location for the first Timberpeg frame-raising in County Donegal which took place during the week of 23 October 2006. The frame was erected by Seamus Friel & Sons Ltd. under the supervision of Timberpeg’s Bob Britton, who flew in from New Hampshire for this unique event. Timberpeg Independent Representative, Michael McArdle of Ingenium, explains, “The frame-raising for this 300m2 home was completed in 5 days. It’s a wonderful new Timberpeg post and beam home on a beautiful site overlooking Lough Swilly. We are delighted to have been selected to provide this home. We have worked closely with the owners and their architect, Caroline Dickson & Associates, to achieve a beautiful and elegant home.”
